A Helicopter Crash in Balochistan Martyred Six Army Officers

The accident occurred due to bad weather, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

After losing contact with air traffic control, a Pakistan Army aviation helicopter carrying six senior military officers, including the top commander of the XII Corps, crashed near Lasbela, Balochistan, while on a flood relief mission. According to reports, the helicopter carrying Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, commander of the XII Corps, was helping with flood relief efforts in the area. Additionally, Major General Amjad; Brigadier Khalid; Major Saeed; Major Talha; and Crew Chief Mudassir all gave their lives in service to their country.

On a flood relief mission, the helicopter took off from Uthal and was headed for the Pakistan Air Force base in Masroor in Karachi before it vanished.

After a search and rescue mission was launched, the chopper’s wreckage was discovered. According to reliable sources, it’s still too early to determine what caused the crash.
